I loved the quiet location, close to Greymouth, with easy access to Hokitika Gorge and Glowworm Dell. The one-bedroom apartment was spacious, clean, and perfect for a light sleeper like myself. I enjoyed photographing the stars and Milky Way at night, and the abundance of birdlife, including resident wekas. The highlight of my stay was the delicious BBQ dinner shared with hosts Jolene and Andrew, who made me feel right at home.

Spending New Year at this hotel was an amazing experience! The location was great, as it allowed easy access to nearby towns and attractions. The spacious rooms were really comfortable, especially the beds. One of the best aspects of the hotel was the friendly and accommodating owner, who gave us helpful recommendations for things to do in the area and places to eat.
