We absolutely loved our stay at this luxurious hotel! The location was just perfect, with the beautiful lake right across the road, and all the fantastic eateries within walking distance. The convenience of having a car park right outside our door made us feel secure. The room was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. We were also impressed with the helpful and friendly staff, who went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The spa bath was a wonderful treat to unwind and relax after a long day of exploring.

Great Location

We had a fantastic stay at Great Lake Motel. The location was perfect, with the lake just across the road and shopping on the other side. The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchenette. The bathroom had ample cupboard space and good water pressure in the shower. The motel provided free Wi-Fi and parking right outside our room. The staff were helpful and resolved any issues we had. we highly recommend Great Lake Motel for a wonderful stay in Taupo.

I recently stayed at a motel in a beautiful location across the road from the lake. The owners were incredibly accommodating, adjusting our room to twin beds to suit our request. They provided us with helpful advice for our Tongariro Alpine Crossing hike and were always approachable. We enjoyed the convenience of being able to park our car right outside our room. The lady working at reception and housekeeping was extremely welcoming and even upgraded our room to a 1-bedroom apartment at no extra charge. The motel's proximity to shops and restaurants was also a bonus. a wonderful experience and I would definitely return.

Our room was spacious and had a kitchenette which allowed us to prepare meals. The location was perfect, just a short stroll to the town centre and lake front. we ordered room service breakfast and it was scrumptious.

The parking was limited, especially if you have a larger vehicle such as a van or truck. We could hear the neighbours toilet flushing but it wasn't too bothersome.

We were pleasantly surprised by the convenient location of the motel, as it was just across the lake from all the main restaurants. It was also near the town center, making it easy for us to walk to nearby attractions and eateries. The room we stayed in was clean, warm, and comfortable, with all the necessary utensils provided. The staff were nice and helpful, changing our dirty duvet promptly.

Parking was restricted, which may prove inconvenient if there are several utility trucks or van-sized vehicles to park.
