We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The rooms were fabulous, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, with easy access to shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants. We were within walking distance of shopping, a supermarket, and a beautiful botanic garden. The hotel provided great transportation options to all the tourist attractions in the city and to the main stores, including the famous Riverside Market. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the facilities were top-notch. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort.

We were disappointed with the customer service we received. On our last night, there was no hot water for the fourth person to shower after three of us had already used it.

We absolutely loved the charming old building that we stayed in during our romantic escape. the rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, with high ceilings and a fully equipped kitchen. It was like stepping back in time to a bygone era. the staff were friendly and always ready to assist. the location of the hotel was ideal, as it was close to all the key attractions and amenities. It made exploring the city very convenient. Additionally, we were impressed with the comfortable beds and the cleanliness of the rooms.

One downside was that there was no ramp on the front stairs, which made it difficult for us to carry our heavy suitcases up when we arrived after a long journey. Another disappointment was that breakfast was not included in our tariff, but we found a fantastic alternative nearby.

Amazing Suite Experience!

I had an amazing stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the city with plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. It was perfect for exploring the CBD and Avon river. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. The room was beautiful, with original character and comfortable amenities such as heating and air conditioning. I especially loved the comfortable bed and well-equipped kitchen. this place exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it to friends.

My only complaint would be that the hotel is currently undergoing extensive rebuilding work due to the earthquakes. However, this did not affect my stay and I still had a fantastic time.

They made great cocktails and had a selection of beers and cider on tap. The hotel also had a fully furnished kitchen, though we didn't get a chance to use it. The location was excellent, close to restaurants and shopping malls.

One of the best aspects of this hotel is its proximity to the badly damaged cathedral, which is directly across from the hotel. Additionally, we were impressed to learn that the building had been reinforced to withstand earthquakes. The breakfast was also excellent, with delicious eggs benedict served. we couldn't have asked for a better experience.
