I had a great stay at a cozy hotel that made me feel right at home. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, even going the extra mile to send me a handmade Christmas card during the holidays. They even invited all the guests for a Christmas BBQ which was a wonderful way to connect with people from all over the world. The hotel had a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it a memorable experience. I highly recommend this hotel for its cozy ambiance and friendly staff.

I recently spent Christmas at a motel in Kaikoura and had a great time. the room was really clean, warm, and spacious. the bathroom was big with amazing water pressure in the shower. the proprietors were friendly and even had the heater on in our room when we arrived late. the location was perfect, being close to the town center and wildlife activities. Plus, there was plenty of parking space.

The only downside was the lack of warmth or charm in the motel. the staff at the desk were polite but not very connected.

The room we stayed in at the motel had a spacious layout, providing plenty of space for our group of four. The cleanliness of the room was exceptional, making us feel comfortable and at ease during our stay. Additionally, the location of the motel, right along the main road, made it easy for us to find and convenient for exploring the surrounding area. I would highly recommend this motel for its comfortable rooms and convenient location.

The rooms were recently renovated, quiet at night, small decking area for breakfast, friendly owner, easy to find on State Highway 1.

This hotel offers great value for money, with spacious and well-equipped rooms. The ensuite bathrooms are larger than usual and the kitchenettes have a good range of equipment. The hotel is conveniently located on the main highway and offers beautiful views towards the mountains. The private garden in front of each room is a lovely touch.

There was some road noise due to its location on the main road, especially when trucks were passing by.

We stayed at this lovely Motor Inn for 3 nights during our family vacation. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the towels were soft. We also appreciated the air conditioning and the excellent guidebook they provided. The bathroom and shower were exceptionally clean and had great water pressure. The bed was perfect - so comfortable that I wish I could buy one for myself. The two bedroom unit was spacious and immaculate. Despite being near the highway, there was very little outside noise. The proprietors were delightful and the motel had a homely atmosphere that suited our needs perfectly.

Immaculate rooms, comfortable beds, and friendly staff. The hotel is in a quiet district on the outskirts of town, with beautiful mountain views. Cleanliness, hotel facilities, parking, and location to mountains are on point.

The rooms at this motel are spacious and come with a table and chairs, making it convenient for low-budget travelers. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and have a great sense of humor. The air conditioning is a major plus, especially during hot weather.

Convenient location for a one night stopover. The shower pressure was excellent and the unit was clean. Despite some noise issues, it was still a decent stay. I recommend this hotel for a short stay.

The kitchen facilities were great for self-catering, and the bed was very comfortable. The family room/apartment was very large with two bedrooms. The shower was great and the kitchenette had complimentary coffee and tea. The room had a good range of equipment in the kitchenette area and a gorgeous view of the mountain range.

The warm and friendly welcome was a great start to our stay. We were impressed with how the hotel catered to our bedding request seamlessly. the rooms were lovely and the facilities were excellent. the kitchen facilities were especially great, allowing us to prepare our own meals. the location was another highlight, with stunning mountain views and a peaceful rural farm environment at the back.

One minor downside was a slight damp smell in the bathroom in the morning, but it's understandable given the middle of winter. Additionally, the hotel was further from town than we would have preferred, making it a bit inconvenient for those without a car.

It was just what we needed for our trip.
