We stayed in a private double room, which was clean and had ample facilities. The cooking area was well-equipped, and there were plenty of eateries and public transport options nearby. We enjoyed a 20-minute walk down Queen Street to the city center.

The single-glazed window in our room was not soundproof, resulting in disturbances from outside noise.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we had a great time staying in a basic hostel that was conveniently located near the city center. The staff was nice and approachable, and the price was affordable. The hostel's proximity to K Road made it easily accessible for us to explore the vibrant nightlife. the blackout curtains in our double room provided a comfortable sleeping experience, ensuring we woke up refreshed each morning.

The cleanliness of the bathroom left much to be desired. The bins were often full and there was lots of hair left behind, indicating that it hadn't been cleaned during our four-night stay.

They even offered free luggage storage and provided towels for just a small deposit. Plus, it was one of the most affordable places to stay, especially if you're looking for a cheap private room with shared facilities. the late-night self check-in process was smooth and hassle-free.

I recently stayed at a hostel in central Auckland for Easter and there were a few things I really liked about my experience. the hostel provided free Wi-Fi all over the place, which was really handy for staying connected with friends and family. they offered free breakfast every morning, which was a great way to start the day before exploring the city. the location of the hostel was perfect – it was right in the heart of the city, close to all the major attractions and public transportation.

There were a couple of things that I didn't like during my stay. the cleanliness of the hostel was a bit of a letdown.

Stayed at this hostel during a weekend event. Good access to bus and vibrant K Road nightlife. Cheap but all we needed was a bed to crash in. Great value for money. Consider bringing earplugs for a good night's sleep, as the street is noisy. Well-located, comfortable and spacious room. Friendly and professional staff. Very convenient location, close to SkyBus and CBD area. Clean public areas and comfortable bed.

During my stay at this hostel, I found K Road City Travellers to be a great place to stay in terms of location, cleanliness, and staff assistance. The hostel is conveniently situated at the northern end of Queen Street, with plenty of restaurants, a supermarket, and bus lines nearby. The staff was helpful and went out of their way to assist me, even finding a towel that I had forgotten and returning it to me. The dorms were clean and tidy, and I appreciated the lockers for added security.
