I had a delightful stay at this charming bed and breakfast. The romantic and comfortable bed made for a perfect night's sleep. The homemade biscuits were a sweet touch, and the room had everything I needed. The separate bungalow provided complete privacy and lovely views of the flower-filled garden. The host was exceptionally kind and helpful, and the entire property was well cared for. Highly recommended. I'll recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious and comfortable hotel. The location, nestled amongst stunning gardens, provided a tranquil and idyllic setting. The room was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed, including ironing facilities and air conditioning. The service was top-notch, with room service and excellent housekeeping. We especially enjoyed the terrace and dining area, where we could relax and take in the breathtaking views. The free Wi-Fi was a bonus, allowing us to stay connected. this place exceeded our expectations and we would recommend it to everyone.

We couldn't have asked for a better location for our stay. The B&B is situated right on the bay, offering breathtaking views of the water. The room we stayed in was comfortable and clean, with a balcony that allowed us to soak in the afternoon sun. The service provided by the host was exceptional, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast options were delicious, featuring homemade goodies and eggs from the resident hens. Additionally, the beautiful gardens surrounding the property added to the overall charm of our stay.

A lack of facilities, but with such a beautiful location and comfortable accommodations, it didn't bother us much.

The weekend spent at this bed and breakfast was an absolute delight! the accommodation was beautifully presented and the view from the deck was breathtaking. the host was very thoughtful and made sure that everything needed was available. the breakfast they offered was made from their own produce and tasted amazing. It was great that the tea came in its own pot and ‘proper’ tea cup, which made the experience more enjoyable. the location was perfect as we were not too far from the city center and other beautiful views.

Honestly, there is nothing to dislike about this place. the experience was worthwhile and I wish we had stayed longer.

l'abri exceeded our expectations in every way. from the breathtaking views of akaroa harbour to the delicious homemade breakfast, it was an unforgettable stay. the host, jane, was incredible and made us feel right at home. we can't wait to come back and experience this slice of paradise again.
