The view from this hotel is amazing, especially in the morning and at night. There is zero light pollution, so you can enjoy a clear and breathtaking view. The facilities, including the showers and kitchen, were readily available and exceptionally clean. The hotel has a spacious cabin with a small terrace, providing a comfortable and clean space to stay. The shared facilities are modern, clean, and high capacity, so there's no waiting in line. The hotel has a great BBQ area and a spacious kitchen. It also has a big shared terrace with a stunning view of the lake. The hotel's location is very convenient, as it is close to the shopping center and supermarket, and just a short walk away from the start of the Mt John track to the viewpoint and observatory.

Coffee cart arriving at 7.30 was well worth the walk. Parking right outside the cabin. Perfect for a family of 4, with everything we needed. Location close to Tekapo Springs was perfect.

Recently, I stayed at Lakes Edge Holiday Park for a short get-away with friends. The warm and cozy apartment greeted us, with heaters already turned on. The view of Lake Tekapo was simply amazing, and we loved having a playground right outside our window. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the hotpools, lake, and town. The staff, especially Sam at reception, went above and beyond to make our stay special, even providing shuttle services and discounts. The modern and clean 3-bedroom kiwi bach had spotless cleanliness and breathtaking views, making it the best place I have ever stayed. The communal kitchen was conveniently located and well-equipped, and the laundry facilities were affordable and nearby.

lakes edge holiday park is a fantastic stopover in lake tekapo! the ensuite cabin was cozy and clean with a stunning view of the lake. loved being close to the main township, observatory, hot springs, and ice rink. such a great location for a few days' stay!

We had a fantastic stay at this holiday park! the location was perfect, within walking distance to the Thermal springs and with a beautiful view of the lake right in front of us. the unit we stayed in was spacious and ideal for our family of four. It didn't feel cramped at all, unlike some other places we've stayed at. the kids enjoyed the small playground, and it was convenient to have the lake just across the road. We even took a nice leisurely 20-minute walk to the Church of Good Shepard, passing through the charming town along the way. the bathroom was clean, and we were pleasantly surprised when we received fresh towels on our second day. Highly recommended!

Right in front of the lake, our cabin offered amazing views of the water and beautiful pine trees. The room was clean, cosy, and had a separate bathroom and toilet. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the necessities, and fresh towels were provided daily. We also enjoyed the quiet and privacy, as the caravans were located separately. The location was close to cafes and restaurants, making it convenient for meals.

What a fantastic way to bring in the New Year! Enjoyed two complimentary drinks at check-in, which was a great way to get into the holiday spirit. the location was just perfect, we were just a few steps away from a breathtaking view of the lake. the hot springs were super close by, making it super easy to get to. Plus, we were able to stargaze right from our accommodation, the view was absolutely amazing!

The walls were a little thin and we could hear the guests in the room next to us talking all night long. This made it a little difficult for us to enjoy our stay to the fullest.
