Clean and tidy room, ample common areas, amazing living room, excellent stargazing, close to hot pools.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The view over the lake was absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed feeding the black swans and ducks in the morning, a unique experience offered by the lodge. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare delicious meals. Plus, having two blankets on every bed ensured a cozy and comfortable sleep.

Clean and tidy rooms and toilets. Spacious and comfortable common areas with TV and ample seating. Convenient location for hiking and stargazing. Friendly and helpful staff with free shuttle service. Great shower and hygienic facilities.

This hotel is excellently located right on the lake front, offering breathtaking views of the water. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the basic amenities in the rooms are more than sufficient. I also appreciated having two plugs per room, unlike some other budget accommodations.

Great location just steps away from the lake with stunning views. The lodge itself was clean and tidy, creating a comfortable atmosphere. We especially loved the cozy wooden oven, although it was off during our stay. The lodge also provided a nice spot for walks and exploring the beautiful Lake Tekapo area.

We had a lovely stay at a lodge with the loveliest and friendliest staff who were incredibly helpful throughout our time there. They even assisted with pick up and drop offs. The shower pressure and water temperature were great, and we enjoyed the fantastic views of the lakefront. The lodge is in a convenient location, only a minute away from the track leading up to Mt John, and within walking distance to Tekapo Springs. The little cabins at the back were comfortable and warm, perfect for our family.

We had a wonderful stay at a hotel with a breathtaking location just across the road from the lake. The staff provided excellent service and the breakfast exceeded our expectations. We also enjoyed the facilities such as the spacious kitchen and the picturesque lounge.

The common area could get a bit crowded at times.

We had a great stay at a lovely lodge with a beautiful view of the lake. The beds were comfortable and the locks on the rooms and main doors were secure. The common area was spacious and had plenty of cozy seating options, including new couches and beanbags. There were also lots of plugs and USB stations available for charging devices. The lodge is conveniently located near the hot spring and Mount John walking track, making it easy to explore the area. The staff were friendly and helpful, adding to our enjoyable experience.

The view from the common area was breathtaking, and the water pressure in the showers was impressive. the staff was always willing to offer helpful suggestions to enhance our trip, and we appreciated the free walking tour and complimentary breakfasts.

The lack of power sockets in the bedrooms was inconvenient, and the distance to nearby restaurants was a bit of a hassle during heavy rain. the noise level from other guests made it difficult for us to relax and enjoy the cozy atmosphere.

Our stay at Lakes Edge Lodge was fantastic. The lodge is situated in a beautiful and peaceful location, just a short walk from the supermarket and restaurants. The lounge and outdoor area were spacious and comfortable, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery. The bathrooms were clean and the showers had nice hot water. we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Lakes Edge Lodge for a memorable stay.
