I walked a lot! the park was great for my labrador. A decent room: everything needed to survive. Neat lake view. Uber in the rain, smart move! Kitchen handy for my coins. Big room, plenty of world under us—good people all around a gem! .

We had a great stay at Lake Lodge Motel in Rotorua. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the lake, shops, and restaurants. The views of the lake were stunning. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Despite the decor being a bit dated, it gave the motel a nostalgic charm. We especially appreciated the efficient check-in process and the informative staff who provided us with brochures and discounts for local attractions. it was a pleasant experience and we would recommend this motel to others. Overall I would highly recommend this motel.

The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic. Situated almost on the lake edge at the northern end of the CBD, you can enjoy the beautiful views right across from the lake. It's also conveniently located near many restaurants, making it a very convenient place to stay. The rooms are spacious and come with all the needed amenities, including a full kitchenette.

Best aspects of my Xmas stay: Good location, just a short walk to the main street and near the lake. the free parking was handy. Also enjoyed the recently updated room which was clean and tidy.

Worst aspects of my Xmas stay: Unfortunately, the noise from the road was quite disruptive. the pool was closed for maintenance and we weren't informed ahead of time.

We chose Lake Lodge Motel for its great views and prime location. Upon arrival, John, our host, was very welcoming and accommodating. the plunge pool was relaxing and secluded. the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. the motel is situated on the edge of the city center, close to the beautiful lakefront and within walking distance of restaurants and shops.
