We had a fantastic stay at LyLo in Auckland. The location was great and the facilities were top-notch. The communal areas, including the spacious kitchen, were perfect for cooking our own meals. The beds were comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was also a huge advantage to have 24/7 reception, especially when arriving late. We highly recommend LyLo for its hybrid hotel/backpackers atmosphere, modern interior, and social atmosphere at the bar. it was a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable experience.

The modern and solidly built pods provided us with a clean and tidy space that felt like our own. The bed was incredibly comfortable and spacious, and the pods were well-equipped with mirrors, USB and power points. The security system with the card-access lockers made our stay hassle-free. Despite the hotel being heavily booked, we never felt overwhelmed by crowds. The bar/cafe and communal kitchen had a classy vibe, and the media room offered a moody atmosphere for work or leisure. The bathrooms and showers were also excellent.

There is a large kitchen and a connected restaurant and bar. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is lively.

It can be slightly noisy due to the air con fan in some rooms.
