Located with a stunning seaside view, this historical hotel offers a comfortable stay with clean rooms and cozy bedding, including new beds and a smart TV. The staff go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, even offering a jump-start for the electrical system in the kitchen. The balcony provides a magical spot for enjoying a cup of tea and watching the boats go by.

Some rooms may have outdated features such as stained carpet and peeling paint.

Smooth check-in, ample parking across the road. Enjoyed balcony card games with Orca sightings. Clean room, handy communal kitchenette. Perfect location with beaches, eateries nearby and Four Square across the road. Excellent for business in Kaitaia, Awanui, Taipa. Ideal for road cycling from Manganui to Tauranga Bay and Cape Reinga. Breathtaking harbor view, doors open onto balcony, great way to wake up. Convenient with cafe, fish n chips, and 4 square nearby. Soft towels/linen, comfy bed, useful TV. Lovely hot shower. Cool historical hotel, efforts in renovation evident. Magical seaside view decking.

Great central location, close to shops and restaurants. The view from the outdoor bar was spectacular, overlooking the bay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with new beds, crisp sheets, and a smart TV. Loved the seaside view deck, perfect for enjoying a cuppa. I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel.

The waterfront location was unbeatable, with local shops and a lovely view of the bay. We were impressed with the ample parking available. the room was comfortable and tidy, with a good TV, and the bed was neatly made. the staff was friendly, and we appreciated the sink in our room.

The building certainly has a lot of history, but it could use some updating and maintenance. the lack of air conditioning or fans made for some hot and uncomfortable nights, and the car park was often full during peak holiday times.
