I had a fantastic stay at the motel. The room was spotlessly clean and surprisingly spacious. It felt more like a cozy home with a fully-equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge suite. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a baby. The motel and the surrounding streets were very quiet, allowing for a peaceful night's rest. The location was great, only 25 minutes away from Hobbiton, and easy to find even in the dark. Peter gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home. it was a wonderful experience.

The room had a faint smell of smoke and there were random hairs in the bathroom that could have been cleaner. Also, there was some noise from traffic which could be bothersome for light sleepers.

Additionally, being able to park our EV close to the room and easily charge it overnight was a convenient perk. Peter, the host, was very helpful and welcoming throughout our stay.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, guaranteeing a good night's sleep. I also loved the cozy lounge suite with recliners, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. Additionally, the motel and surrounding area were peaceful and quiet, allowing for a truly restful stay.

In terms of drawbacks, there were a couple of minor issues. there was a mix-up with the rooms, and we were initially given the wrong key.

The flat-screen TV with satellite channels kept the children entertained during downtime. Additionally, the motel's convenient location within walking distance to the retail shops, racecourse, and centennial park allowed us to easily explore and enjoy the local attractions.

For dads, it would be great to have a designated play area for children.
