Amazing Hospitality and Spacious Room

We had a fantastic stay at Waiheke Island Motel. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with enthusiasm and promptly shown to our room, even though we arrived late. The room, specifically room #8, was incredibly spacious with a comfortable queen size bed and all the necessary amenities such as a fridge, microwave, and kitchenware. The motel's location was perfect, just a short walk to a grocery store and several restaurants, cafes, and even a superb bakery. Additionally, the motel is conveniently situated near bus lines that can take you anywhere on the island, including the ferry and beautiful beaches.

The area was conveniently located and allowed us to easily access nearby restaurants and shops. the cozy atmosphere of the room, enhanced by the lovely outdoor garden view, created a romantic ambiance. We appreciated the affordable price tag for a brief weekend getaway.

The room wasn't properly cleaned, with floors and bedding dirty and many bugs present. We also encountered connectivity problems with the TV and Wi-Fi.

The staff is friendly and provides good service, ensuring that basic amenities are provided. The rooms offer a comfortable stay and some even have water views, allowing guests to enjoy beautiful scenery. The breakfast served at the hotel is delicious and can be enjoyed while taking in the lovely views.

We were a group of 8 women staying 2 nights on the Island and we had a great experience at Waiheke Island Motel. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and ensure that we had a comfortable stay. When the initial unit offered to us was not suitable for our mobility requirements, they promptly offered us a different unit that was perfect for our group. They even allowed us to stay a bit longer before catching our bus. The location of the motel was also very convenient, with easy access to restaurants, supermarkets, and transportation options. The spacious units and amenities like a verandah and trampoline made it a perfect choice for a family holiday. Despite a few minor issues like dated cooking appliances and a swimming pool in need of maintenance, we still loved our stay at Waiheke Island Motel. I would highly recommend this motel to families and groups looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay on the island.
