We really enjoyed our stay at Motel De La Mer. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with nice little touches like olive oil body wash and a range of teas. The motel is in a quiet location, but still centrally located to the city and the beach. The spa bath was a great feature for relaxing after a day of biking. The owners were welcoming and provided suggestions for dinner options. We also appreciated the ample supply of towels and toiletries. a fantastic stay.

We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and beautiful decor of our room at Motel De La Mer. The sea view from the couch and armchairs added a lovely touch to our stay. The kitchenette was well-equipped, and the complimentary tea, coffee, and cookies were a nice touch. The host also gave us a great recommendation for dinner at a nearby establishment. our experience at Motel De La Mer was one of the best on our travels.

Just a slight chemical smell in the room when all the doors and windows were closed. The shower pressure could have been better, but it was still functional.

My room was at the end of the row, allowing passersby to look in. there was no option to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air.

The location of this hotel is perfect - it's just a short walk to the main shopping street and the stunning Art Deco centre. Plus, you can't beat the fact that it's right across the road from the beach. The rooms are lovely and clean, and the service is top-notch. The staff are friendly and provide great recommendations for restaurants and local sights. The daily room servicing is also a nice touch.

The lounge seating could be more comfortable, especially for taller guests.

Our room was phenomenal, easily the biggest one we stayed in during our trip! the decor was very tasteful and the oceanfront views were stunning. We also appreciated the well-stocked kitchenette and the lovely homely touches added by the host. we were recommended a fabulous restaurant close by that was an incredible value – one of the best meals we had all trip!

The living room chairs were pretty miserable and not very comfortable, particularly if you are on the taller side. we struggled with unpacking and storage space.

had another amazing stay in napier. decided to try motel de la mer and it was beyond expectations. rooms were spotless, with a luxurious spa in each. owners were incredibly kind and went above and beyond. would definitely stay again.
