The accommodation exceeded our expectations with its comfortable and quiet atmosphere. Our room was exceptionally clean and spacious, equipped with everything we needed for a perfect stay, including a kettle, microwave, and cutlery. The outdoor seating, BBQ area, and pool were fantastic additions to our experience. The location was ideal, just a short walk from restaurants, bars, and the wharf, making it easy for us to explore and enjoy our time. We will definitely be returning for another unforgettable getaway.

The owner was very hospitable and understanding, allowing us to relax on the apartments veranda while waiting for our rooms to be cleaned. The mountain view was a nice bonus. We stayed at a motel in a great location, just a short walk to the village and waterfront. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the daily servicing of the unit was appreciated. The motel had great facilities, including a pool with loungers and a shared grass area with tables. The motel was close to restaurants, supermarkets, and the passenger ferry to Paihia.

There was a lack of washing up area for the crockery and cutlery, but it was not a major issue.

I recently spent my New Year’s holiday at a motel in a small coastal town in North Island, and I have to say that my experience there was pretty good. the bed was incredibly comfortable, which made it hard to get up in the morning. the staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. the location was perfect for me, as it was situated right by the waterfront and close to other key amenities.

I thought the price was a bit higher than I would have liked, but I suppose that is to be expected in a popular holiday destination.

It was also a special treat to see local wekas right outside our door. the motel is just a short walk from the town center, making it convenient for exploring. we had a great experience and would happily return.

We had an amazing stay at this motel in a perfect location! the pool was fantastic, and we loved the short walk through the pretty houses to Russell town. the motel is situated in a valley, so it was calm and peaceful, unlike the windy beach nearby. the pool was quiet, and our toddler and preschooler absolutely loved it. James, the owner, was incredibly lovely and made our stay even better. the rooms were clean, freshly painted, and the bathroom spotless. We enjoyed sitting outside on our deck, and the kitchen was well equipped. a great experience!
