My recent stay at Owens Motel was perfect for my travel purpose. I was helping my son shift flats, and the location on George Street was ideal. The room was spacious, with a clean bathroom and a comfortable shower. Furthermore, they even reserved a free parking spot for us. The owner provided a pleasant welcome, and the bed was comfortable. I also appreciated the simple and quick check-in process, as well as the loan of an umbrella during the rainy days.

Convenient location near university and CBD shops. Super clean, with excellent free wifi. Good kitchen facilities, including salt and pepper shakers. Helpful staff when Air New Zealand lost luggage. Warm and comfortable despite chilly winter weather.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in many ways. the value for money was exceptional. We found the prices to be very reasonable for the quality of accommodation. Secondly, the attention to detail was evident throughout our stay. We appreciated the comfortable seating provided in the rooms, as well as the convenient shelves on which to put our toiletries. Lastly, the location of the hotel was perfect for us. Its proximity to the hospital where we needed to visit made our trip much easier.

Everything is what I need and want.

Our 1-bedroom apartment at Owens Motel was clean, comfortable, and nicely furnished. The owner was really nice and accommodating to our pet. The motel was in a great location, close to the main street but surprisingly quiet. I would highly recommend this motel for a pleasant stay.

Excellent location for exploring the city and close to the highway for adventure travelers. The room was clean, modern, and had a comfortable bed. Parking was available on the premises. The friendly owner ensured a warm welcome and provided a heater in the bedroom.

Despite being on a busy road, there is minimal noise during the night, ensuring a good night's sleep. The rooms are clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and pillows. The bathrooms have strong, hot showers and there are laundry facilities available. The staff is friendly and check-in/out is quick.

Great location and friendly staff. the room had a cozy and warm atmosphere. the car park was convenient and easy to access. the Wi-Fi had a stable connection and provided fast browsing, which was ideal for my business needs. the bed was comfortable and provided a good night's sleep.

The room was a bit dated and could use some updates. the noise from the traffic outside was noticeable at times, although it wasn't a big disturbance.
