The room at Paihia Star Motel felt like a cozy home away from home with its kitchenette and AC. the location near the beach was a bonus for me, a solo traveler loving some peace and nature vibes.

Water cylinder a bit small; shower enjoyment limited.

The breakfast here is the real MVP - delicious omelets and fresh fruit plates that hit the spot. the location is clutch, just a hop away from town and the Paihia to Opua trail. Plus, the staff hustle hard, going the extra mile like folding clothes!

A couple of small kinks like a stubborn bathroom sliding door and low shower pressure, but nothing that dampened the good vibes. Just a pinch of maintenance needed to turn up the shine.

As a big guy, I appreciated the generous breakfast that filled me nicely. the unit was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful big shower. Its daily cleaning and warm ambiance were truly welcoming. Being just 40 steps from the beach and close to restaurants made my stay convenient.

At my favorite spot, they gave me a warm drink when it was chilly. It has all I need like free parking, a nice spot to eat outside, a big TV, a kettle, all kitchen stuff, beach nearby. Coming back for holidays.
