The inn is conveniently located just a short walk from the ferry, making it easy for us to explore the city. The breakfast served at the inn was hearty and delicious, providing us with a great start to our day. Additionally, the rooms were nicely furnished, creating a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere for our stay.

The high tea offered at the inn was underwhelming and not worth the expensive price.

Beautiful villa, perfect location near restaurants, cafes, and ferry. Friendly, helpful staff. Victorian Hi Tea was lovely, only missed background music. Tranquil B&B for our anniversary celebration. Judy, the host, was accommodating and set up a private outdoor table for us. Delicious, generous breakfast in a beautiful dining room.

Liked the location, very close to the city center and a lovely park nearby. the room was well decorated and came with all the amenities you need for a short stay. the staff was courteous and helpful when we needed it most, giving great advice on where to eat and what to see.

Disliked the breakfast menu, very limited options and only a short window of time to eat. the bed was also quite uncomfortable with no extra bedding provided, and the cleaning service was poor, not thorough at all.

The inn was a delightful Victorian period charm. The location was perfect, overlooking the waterfront and just minutes away from the main street and ferry. The decor was beautifully restored, creating a nostalgic ambiance. The room had a lovely balcony, offering a peaceful view of the garden. The radiator heating kept the room warm and cozy. The spacious bathroom had double sinks and a luxurious shower. Complimentary tea, coffee, port, and sherry were provided in the room. Breakfast was served in a sunny dining room, offering a continental option with homemade muesli and delicious toast. The host, Judy, was amazing and cooked a fantastic breakfast. Despite being at the higher end of the B&B market, the inn offered comfortable accommodations that made us feel at home.

the Sun terrace and Garden area were perfect for relaxing outside while admiring the breathtaking views. the room had many advantages, including private facilities, comfortable bedding and stylish decor.

The only minor issue was the limited menu for In-room breakfast, although the breakfast in the hotel dining room was very good. the location advantages are its proximity to lovely cafes, restaurants and the amazing ferry ride to the city but the walk to the hotel uphill can be difficult for people with heavy luggage.
