We were pleasantly surprised by the excellent sized rooms at Pembrooke Motor Lodge. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the pillows provided a great night's sleep. The blackout curtains were a nice touch, ensuring a restful stay. We also appreciated the ice in the freezer upon our arrival for our drinks.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean and spacious, providing ample room to relax and unwind. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. I was also impressed with the kitchenette, which was perfect for preparing my own breakfast. The balcony was a nice touch, providing a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the surroundings.

I highly recommend this hotel to others.

The value for money at Pembrooke Motor Lodge was great! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location was convenient for everything we needed. The staff went above and beyond to help us during a difficult situation, and their genuine kiwi hospitality made us feel welcome.

Food for breakfast could have been better.

I recently stayed at this lovely motel in Whangarei for three nights. The owners and staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. The motel was clean, tidy, and had all the amenities we needed. The breakfast was delicious, and the location was convenient for exploring the town and the harbor. They even had a huge DVD collection available for guests to borrow. I would definitely choose this motel again when I visit.

The location of the hotel was perfect, situated in the heart of the city near 'the Basin' area. I was able to easily walk to the quay and access all the attractions the town had to offer. The rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean, with a huge TV and a small dining table. The staff were welcoming and provided excellent service. The housekeeping issue mentioned in a previous review has been resolved.

The manager seemed to have a hostile attitude towards certain guests, which affected the overall customer service experience.

We had an amazing weekend. the complementary breakfast and Wi-Fi were just the cherry on top. the location was perfect for what we had planned, right in the heart of the city. the room was clean and cozy, just what we needed for a relaxing weekend. Plus, the bed was so comfortable, we slept like babies.

There were a few downsides. the TV channels were limited and didn't include Freeview.
