We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel. The owners were incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean, with a lovely dining table for us to enjoy our meals. The bed was extremely comfortable, making for a peaceful night's sleep. We also loved the bathroom products and the little touches like having a pad and pen available. The pool area was a bonus, providing a relaxing spot to unwind after a day of exploring.

Highly recommended! This place is a gem and we would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at Phoenix Motor Inn for 2 nights during the Food and Wine Fest. The rooms were clean and tidy, with friendly and helpful staff. It was quiet and I had a great sleep. I loved the many Sky TV channels and the presence of 2 adorable doggie mascots. The location was convenient and there was plenty of parking. Will definitely stay here again!

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home. the location was perfect - close to supermarkets and dining options. the kitchenette was well-equipped, and having real coffee provided was a nice touch. the beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. the ample parking and easy access to nearby attractions were a definite plus.

One minor issue I encountered during my stay was some noise from locals having a party nearby, which lasted late into the night. It would be beneficial for the hotel to have soundproofed windows to minimize external disturbances.

This centrally located inn is the ideal base for exploring the beautiful South Island. Situated away from the state highway, it offers a peaceful and quiet environment. The supermarket is conveniently close, and the town center and vineyards are just a short drive away. The rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean, with well-equipped kitchens and comfortable king size beds. The friendly staff provide excellent service, and there is ample parking on the premises.

Some guests in neighboring rooms were smokers, and their habit affected the comfort of other guests.

Amazingly comfortable and clean room with a pleasant smell. Thoughtful touches like leaving the heat pump on for us and providing quality toilet paper and real milk. The friendly staff and working amenities, including electric blanket, kettle, and hairdryer, were impressive. Would definitely return!

We enjoyed lounging by the pool and taking a dip after a long day of walking.

The only negative aspect of our hotel experience was the noise level from other guests. On one of our nights, there was a rowdy family staying above us, and they were quite loud, which made it difficult for us to sleep.
