The motel had a convenient location, close to great cafes for morning coffee and restaurants. It was also within walking distance to everything in the town. The room was clean and comfortable, with a comfortable bed. There were appliances available in the unit for self-catering. there was an option for after hour key return, which was helpful for catching the ferry.

The pillows supplied in the room were flat and probably quite old.

This place is right in the center of town and only a short walk from the ferry terminal. The location couldn't be better! The staff here are really friendly and make us feel welcome. The room was extremely clean, and we loved having a microwave and fridge - it made our stay even more convenient. The beds were comfortable, and we had a great night's sleep. The hotel also offers great amenities, like a TV with Sky, which was a nice way to wind down after a long drive. the service and comfort provided here were top-notch.

I had such a fantastic stay at this place in the heart of town. Being right in the centre of Picton was so convenient, especially since it was just a short 5-minute walk from the ferry terminal. The location couldn't have been better! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they even went above and beyond by turning on the heating in my room before I arrived. The room itself was spotless and had all the amenities I needed, including a microwave and a fridge. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and I loved winding down in the evening with the help of the flat-screen TV and the Sky channels. the service and comfort here were top-notch.

The complimentary breakfast and wifi were a nice touch during my Xmas stay. the location was very convenient, just a short walk from the ferry terminals. the room had a great view of the town, which I enjoyed while relaxing in bed.

The room was quite warm and the provided heater only made it worse. the lack of air conditioning and fans made for an uncomfortably hot night's sleep.

We recently stayed at Gateway Motel and had a great experience. the beds were comfy and the kitchen had all the necessary amenities for cooking. We especially enjoyed the grassed area with the gas BBQs and wooden seating. It was a cool place to meet fellow travelers and hang out. the location in the middle of the shops was perfect, giving us easy access to everything while still feeling secluded. Whenever we're in the area, we'll definitely choose Gateway Motel for our accommodation needs.

I had a wonderful stay at a motel in Picton recently. The location was absolutely perfect, with bars and restaurants just steps away from the front door. The room was clean and comfortable, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring. I particularly enjoyed using the motel as a base for a Marlborough wine tour, a scenic hike, and simply relaxing and observing the leisurely pace of Picton. I would highly recommend this accommodation for its ideal location and comfortable amenities.
