had a fantastic time at plateau lodge in national park. friendly staff and clean rooms made our stay enjoyable. loved being close to restaurants and pubs. perfect after a day of skiing. highly recommend and can't wait to go back for the tongariro alpine crossing.

Really loved how warm and cosy the lodge was, especially with the heated floors in the bathroom. The shared kitchen was convenient and had a large stove for multiple guests to cook. Also, the location was great with easy access to the shuttle pick-up zone for the ski field.

We stayed at Plateau Lodge for a family hiking trip and had a wonderful time. Our pod with a private toilet was cozy and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The communal kitchen and dining area were tidy, and our kids enjoyed playing with the toys provided. The location was perfect, with takeaways and restaurants nearby. The staff was accommodating, offering us an alternative day for the Tongariro Crossing when the weather didn't cooperate.

We recently stayed at Plateau Lodge for our Tongariro Alpine Crossing hike. The apartment was clean, spacious, and well-equipped. The staff, especially Vicky, were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The free hot tub was a perfect relaxation spot after a long day of hiking. The location was peaceful yet conveniently close to a small supermarket and petrol station. our stay at Plateau Lodge was one of the best during our New Zealand trip. Highly recommended!

The location of the lodge is excellent, with easy access to hiking trails and ski fields. The two-bedroom apartment we stayed in was clean, comfortable, and had effective heating. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and the staff was friendly. the lodge offered a spa bath for guests to relax after a long day.

The room was not properly cleaned upon arrival, with issues such as half eaten bread left in the cupboard and used toilet paper.

We had a wonderful stay at a cozy lodge with a cabin feel. The staff was kind enough to turn on the heating before our arrival, which was greatly appreciated after our long drive. The beds and sofa were all very comfortable, allowing us to have a well-deserved rest. The lodge had a great location, close to the ski fields and ski gear rental. We loved the separate room for the kids and the fact that we felt like we were renting an apartment for our time at the snow. The hot tub and guest laundry were added bonuses that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Great location, walking distance to restaurants and rental shop. The kitchen and lounge facilities were good. The friendly cat was a nice touch, kept me company while reading in the lounge.

The lack of screens on the windows led to some bug problems. Laundry facilities were limited and expensive, making it difficult to do laundry.
