Convenient location between tourist activities and eateries, perfect for a quick stopover during a road trip. Spacious and well-equipped rooms, albeit slightly older. Comfy bed and luxurious spa shower with quality bath products. Friendly staff and fast room service. Easily accessible to major highways, with minor vibration from nearby attractions.

Lovely staff, huge studio room with cooking facilities, beautiful view of the geyser, good shower, fan for hot nights, close to attractions and supermarket.

I was really impressed with the value for money at this hotel. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the spaciousness of the two-bedroom unit. The attention to detail was evident throughout, with new duvets on the comfy Queen and twin beds. The location was perfect, right between the two main attractions we wanted to visit, and near the Rotorua thermal parks. The verandah area offered a lovely view while enjoying breakfast, served by the friendly staff.

All was fine, no improvements needed.

Location was good as there were plenty of activities nearby and the rooms were clean and neat. the kitchen was fully equipped with everything that I needed to cook up a quick meal.

The occasional smell of sulphur from the geysers was a bit of a turn off, but fortunately closing the windows helped. the lack of maintenance was a slight issue, the upstairs and downstairs sliding doors were loose and could have used a bit of attention.

our recent family holiday in rotorua was made even more wonderful by our stay at the pohutu lodge motel. the friendly and knowledgeable staff went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience, providing us with discounts and detailed directions to attractions. the spacious and clean rooms exceeded our expectations, especially the two-story layout that our overseas family loved. highly recommend!
