The central location in Gisborne was superb, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, with a wonderfully cozy bed and pleasant water views. Despite some noise from adjacent rooms and plumbing, my stay was enjoyable thanks to the great amenities and easy access to the town center.

The room had a cozy layout with a fully equipped kitchen and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud, keeping us warm without even needing the heatpump! We loved the central location, being near cafes and restaurants, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. the pool and sun loungers were perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring 🌞. the bathroom fan not working was a bit of a hassle when showering, but it didn't dampen the overall fantastic experience we had.

We hit up Hotel Triplets Entertainment and then crashed at this dope spot. the lounge was perfect for our late-night chill sessions. the receptionist was a legend, sorting us out with all we needed!

One thing to up the party vibe would be a more happening pool area for late-night hangs with friends.

My stay at Portside Hotel was absolutely fantastic. The location along the waterfront trail was stunning and the hotel itself was tucked away behind other buildings, giving it a hidden gem feeling. The one-bedroom deluxe suite I stayed in was incredibly spacious, clean, and had a contemporary design. It felt like a small apartment with a fully equipped kitchen, living room, and separate bedroom with a king-sized bed. Despite being functional, the craftsman-style furnishings added a touch of elegance. The suite had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.

New Plymouth hotel provided the perfect base for exploring. Queenstown's great alpine region was breathtaking. Gisborne's relaxed ambience was delightful.

Lift only goes up, not down - great workout dragging heavy luggage downstairs.

We loved this place! The location was perfect, close to restaurants, the beach, and even the Farmers market for breakfast. The staff were excellent and made all arrangements without fuss when we arrived. The room was great, clean and tidy, with all the amenities we needed like a mini-bar, tea and coffee facilities, and even a sitting area. The swimming pool was a wonderful addition, with sun loungers where we could relax and enjoy the view. Wi-fi was available and the on-site car park provided convenience and 24-hour security.

Recommended for families.

The hotel lacks a restaurant, and some rooms face the carpark instead of the beautiful harbor view. a complimentary bottle of water was provided for two guests, and the studio was small for two people.
