Possum Lodge is a lovingly crafted accommodation nestled in a picturesque setting near Lake Manapouri. the rooms are cozy, well-equipped, and hosted by friendly owners. the kitchen is clean and stocked, perfect for meals. Free kayak hire is a bonus.

The twin/double room we stayed in had a toaster, which was a game-changer for our breakfast routine. It made us feel like gourmet chefs, toasting our bread to perfection as if we were running a fancy bakery in the middle of the wilderness.

Had a cabin to myself at Possum Lodge, which was great. The games shed was a fun addition, wish I had more time to enjoy it. The toilets and showers were decent. The location was beautiful, perfect for Doubtful Sounds and stargazing.
