The location, right on the beach and surrounded by beautiful bush, was absolutely stunning. Our family cabin was warm, spacious, and had a lovely view. The camp also had a drying/airing room for wet clothes, which was really convenient. The staff, especially Mel, were incredibly helpful and friendly. They even allowed us to change our reservation after we missed our ferry. The camp office was open for excellent hours and provided us with excellent information. We also appreciated the offer of a free upgrade to a better cabin. the cleanliness, hotel facilities, and location of this beach camp were top-notch.

Spectacular views, short walk to stunning coastline and rock formations. Private cabins cleverly positioned amidst native flora. Good cafe nearby. Secluded location with abundant birdlife. Relaxed atmosphere with food cart and groovy music. 🌅🌿☕️🎶

We had a fantastic stay at the beach camp! The staff was friendly and the cabins were new and clean. We loved the convenience of being right beside the Punakaiki Hotel for meals and being so close to the start or finish of the Paparoa Great Walk. The campsite had ample room and the facilities were excellent, well-maintained, and clean. We also enjoyed the proximity to the beach, Punakaiki pancake rocks, and cave. it was a wonderful experience and we would definitely recommend Beach Camp to others.
