the treehouse studio was exceptionally clean, well-appointed, and furnished. the spacious bathroom was a nice touch. everything was in great working condition, including the hob. loved the charming garden setting and the visit from a curious weka bird. plenty to do in the area.

Wow, what a gem of a place! The Punakaiki Treehouse exceeded my expectations in terms of value for money and the room itself was clean, comfortable, and just as it appeared in the photos. The location was absolutely stunning, nestled in the midst of native bush with incredible bird songs to wake up to. The staff were friendly and even provided directions to a breathtaking ocean view through a private bush track. Can't wait to return for more walks and bike rides!

The spacious living area and well-equipped kitchen made it easy to settle in and feel at home. With good WIFI and a smart TV, entertainment options were readily available. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel for those seeking a funky and peaceful getaway.

The accommodation at this hotel was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely peaceful sea sounds through the lush dense native bush surrounding the room. The treehouse provided maximum privacy for each unit, giving the feeling of having the entire place to ourselves. the recommended walk nearby was worth doing, as it offered access to a beautiful beach and stunning ocean views.

The parking spots under the house were narrow, which could become an issue if there were too many cars there.

The Treehouse was a lovely romantic escape in a peaceful forest location. It provided a unique and private experience, with total peace and quiet. The king size bed was comfortable and the deck provided a secluded spot for dining. It was also conveniently located just a short drive away from Punakaiki and the famous Pancake Rocks.

There were a few areas for improvement. Some previous guests had not properly cleaned the cooking pots, which required additional cleaning before use.
