Traveling for work, I recently stopped at Rainbow Motel for a night. the private thermal water bath houses were divine, and the welcoming gesture of leaving the key, light, and heaters on was a great start. the hot mineral pool and comfy beds were highlights. the location was perfect for a break on a long journey.

Totally recommend this hotel.

We hit up the private thermal hot pools and had the chillest time ever. the beds were mad comfy, and the BBQ sesh was epic! the owner was cool AF, giving us wicked tips about Turangi.

It would've been dope if there was a sick game room or a cool hangout spot for us young party animals - that would've taken our stay to the next level.

The room at Rainbow Motel had a cozy lounge with a smart TV and a modern bathroom with a great shower. the beds were comfy, and I loved relaxing in the spacious self-catering unit.

The hot pools were not as hot on the second and third nights, but still enjoyable.

I had a cozy and clean stay at a motel with a retro decor. The one bedroom unit was spacious and spotless. The bed was super comfortable, and I had a great sleep. The hosts, Ann and Bob, were incredibly friendly and helpful. The highlight of my stay was the private thermal pools, where I could soak and admire the stars. The motel also had a drying room for my ski clothes, which was a great bonus. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back.

the motel is clean - tidy, and has an enclosed shower. you can enjoy the mountains from the picnic table outside. the hot pools are open 24/7. they even have rotating fans.

The hot pools were a highlight, providing a relaxing soak after a day of activities. the rooms were modern and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. the location was also convenient for exploring the area and had beautiful views of the surrounding nature.

The kitchen facilities were basic, and we could have used more utensils for reheating and serving the food we brought. the pools were not working upon our arrival, which affected the heating in our room.

Comfortable furniture and new kitchenware. Big bathroom. Wonderful hot pool for a relaxing stay.

Our stay was fantastic! The hosts were hospitable and accommodating, better than high-end places. Pools were clean and beautiful, providing a heavenly experience. Staff were friendly and helpful, beds were comfy, and the hot pools were fantastic. Bathroom was clean with good shower pressure.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in a beautiful quiet area. The attention to detail was impressive, with rooms that were spotless, comfy, and very homely. The kitchen facilities were excellent and very updated. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home.

All was more than satisfactory, no improvements needed.
