Comfortable and clean room with a good heater for those chilly nights. I loved the classic charm of the hotel and the warm Kiwi hospitality. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area and right by the Rail Trail. The lounge room was a great spot to relax and easily access the WiFi. The roast lamb dinner at the restaurant was delicious. I had a great stay and would recommend this hotel.

The hotel was in a great location, only a short walk away from cafes and shops. The room was spacious and comfortable, with nice beds and a well-functioning shower. We appreciated the lounge with tea and coffee making facilities, which was a nice touch. the restaurant's food was tasty, and the roast lamb was a standout.

While the hotel had some positive aspects, there were a few negatives that detracted from the overall experience. The Wi-Fi in the rooms was sporadic, and the doors were noisy to close, making it difficult to sleep without disturbance.

We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious roast of the day option for dinner, perfect after a long day of biking. We would definitely recommend this place to others.

Though the hotel was not very busy during our stay, we did experience some noise around 3am, which slightly disturbed our sleep. However, this did not overshadow the overall comfort and quality of our stay.
