We had the most amazing experience staying at a resort in New Zealand. The location was perfect, nestled in a beautiful countryside with stunning views of the valley and local farmland. The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and all the necessary amenities. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The breakfast spread was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. We also loved interacting with the friendly animals on the property, including alpacas, horses, and ponies. It truly felt like a peaceful and relaxing retreat.

The shared bathroom and toilet facilities were a slight inconvenience, as we had to share them with other guests.

Our purpose of visiting Hamilton was to find a peaceful retreat, and Rua Resort exceeded our expectations. The hosts were incredibly friendly and treated us like family. The environment was relaxing and the property was gorgeous, with 5 acres of hideaway Mormon territory. The room was exceptionally clean and had a stunning view. The breakfast spread was delicious and there was a wide selection to choose from. We had a great time feeding the alpacas, sheep, and ponies before we left.

Our stay at Rua Resort was exceptional. The peaceful countryside setting surrounded by rescue animals created a unique and charming experience. The hosts were warm and welcoming, making us feel at home throughout our stay. The comfortable bed ensured a restful night's sleep. The location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions such as Hobbiton, Raglan, and Te Aroha. I highly recommend this lovely retreat.

There really wasn't anything to dislike about our stay here. the only potential downside might be that it's a bit off the beaten path, but honestly, that's one of the things we loved about it!
