My recent stay at Russell-Orongo Bay Holiday Park was amazing! The location was perfect, offering a real native Kiwi kind of experience. The cabin I stayed in was cozy and well-equipped with everything I needed. The showers in the communal bathroom were incredible, with high pressure and hot water. I enjoyed using the wood-fired pizza oven and the spacious kitchen. The kids' playground, trampolines, and pool were a hit as well. I highly recommend this holiday park for an unforgettable experience.

We stayed at this hotel recently and had a fantastic experience. The location was perfect for us, being close to the ferry and the town center. We were pleasantly surprised to find that it was also just a short walk to the beach, exactly what we were looking for. The hotel had everything we needed, from laundry facilities to assistance with tours and tickets. The room was well-equipped with amenities like ironing facilities, heating, a sitting area, and a terrace. We particularly enjoyed dining outdoors on the patio and the flat-screen TV provided entertainment during our downtime. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. We also appreciated the leisure facilities, including a swimming pool, sun terrace, and outdoor dining area. we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Spent Xmas in a cabin with the family. Enjoyed the sound of nature and wildlife around the area, made it feel serene. Was also thrilled to see the kids enjoy the pool. One of the best aspects was having all the necessary facilities available such as kitchen appliances and showers.

One minor aspect was the absence of TV in the cabin. , suggest bringing insect repellent for the nights spent outdoors.

We loved the friendly customer service and professionalism of the Māori staff at the office. The Asian food truck provided delicious meals and had excellent customer service as well. The campground had a wonderful atmosphere, with facilities like a wood-fired pizza oven, pool, and exercise area. The owners were welcoming and committed to running an environmentally friendly facility. The outside area was nice, with picnic tables, a BBQ, and a pool. Our room was spacious and had a fridge to keep our belongings.

The location of the hotel is perfect, just as close to the beach as we expected. It is away from the city life, providing a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The hotel is also conveniently located up to the Bay of Islands, allowing easy access to various attractions. Additionally, the hotel is close to the car ferry and the Russell centre, making it convenient for guests to explore the area.

There was only one plug in the room and no extension cords available. This made it difficult for us to charge our phones and use the fridge at the same time.
