The room smelled amazing and was clean with nice updates. They had everything we needed including bathroom products, kitchen utensils, and a great selection of coffees and teas. The staff at the office was lovely and provided us with helpful information. The location was close to where we needed to go and we were able to walk instead of drive. Despite being on a busy road, the room was quiet and we were able to get a good night's sleep. The parking was good and the spa was relaxing. The shower was also amazing. we had a great experience and would definitely come back.

I recently stayed at Salerno Motel for my post-surgery recovery. The staff member handled my room change very well and the location, despite being on a busy road, was surprisingly peaceful and relaxing. The bed was extremely comfortable and the spa bath was a great way to unwind. The staff were clear, friendly, and efficient upon my arrival, and the apartment was well-designed and up to date. I also appreciated the meticulous cleaning staff. Additionally, there were unique dining options nearby, including a Christchurch Container takeaway across the road and several restaurants within a ten-minute walk.

Wonderful stay, beautiful rooms. I stayed in a lovely room at Salerno Motel, and everything was in excellent condition. The location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk to Cathedral Square with plenty of eateries and shops along the way. The staff were extremely helpful and even remained cheerful when I accidentally set off the sensitive smoke alarm. I highly recommend this motel for a comfortable stay.

The room didn't match the website description, it was quite small and lacked amenities like a kitchenette and Sky channels. The heating was inadequate with only one heater for the entire place, and the lighting was harsh and some bulbs were not working.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, even waiting up for us when our flight was delayed. The apartment room was sparkling clean and had a beautifully renovated bathroom with a huge spa bathtub. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a well-stocked kitchenette including local brands of coffee and hot chocolate. The location was perfect, with easy access to lovely local restaurants and a nearby supermarket. We also loved that it was close to Hagley Park, which was a great place to explore.

I really got great value for my money at this motel. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, and the spa bath was a delightful bonus. The location was convenient, despite being near a busy road, as the modern glazing helped block out most of the traffic noise. The staff were warm, welcoming, and made me feel right at home.

The breakfast selection could have been better.

It was a relief to find a hotel that was still standing in the earthquake season. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our safety and comfort during our stay. They provided us with alternative tourist attractions that were unaffected by the quake, showing their knowledge of the area. The warm and friendly service made us feel welcome and taken care of. The location was perfect, allowing easy access to the main attractions in the city. The clean and tidy rooms made our stay feel luxurious.

One downside of our stay was the noise from cars racing up and down the street, which continued late into the night. It would have been better if the windows were double glazed to reduce the noise pollution.
