This hotel is a hidden gem close to the beach, shops, and a hospital. The rooms are spacious with their own kitchen and a nice view of the garden. The staff is friendly and provides excellent service. The attention to detail and basic amenities make for a comfortable stay.

The rooms were nice and clean, with a lovely view of nature. The queen bed was comfortable, and there was no noise from upstairs. Bruce, the host, was very accommodating and allowed us to check in early. The fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities were a bonus. The location was convenient, with a great beach only a minute drive away.

The communal kitchen closing at 10pm was a bit inconvenient, as it limited our dining options in the evening.

I had a great stay at the accommodation in Christchurch. The facilities were top-notch and the property itself was beautiful. The bed in my room was incredibly comfortable and had lovely sheets. The owner, Bruce, was friendly and offered great advice on places to eat. I also appreciated the abundance of towels provided. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Cozy backyard with cafe chairs and table, unfortunately unused due to windy weather. Strong pressure and hot water in the shower. Comfy beds with occasional dog hair on linen and towels. Regular sweeping, even at early hours. Well-stocked shared kitchen. Lovely room with garden view, peaceful and equipped with microwave and coffee/tea amenities. Spacious and clean bathroom. Easy street parking. Friendly and helpful manager. Pre-heated rooms and comfortable bed. Great value for money. Convenient ensuite for easy access. Unlocked accommodation with clear instructions. Washing machine beeps loudly and is located next to the rooms in the afternoons and early mornings. No cooking oil provided and blunt knives made cooking difficult.

Had the pleasure of enjoying my own personal bubble in a room without any noisy neighbors. A real blessing for someone in retail who needs a break from humans. Plus, the sunny room and beautiful gardens were just perfection! Amen!
