Settlers Motel in Turangi provides a homely and comfortable atmosphere. The rooms have fantastic outdoor seating and a BBQ area. The beds are really comfortable and the bedding and towels are sparkling white. The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering. The owner is friendly and welcoming. The location is convenient for dining and drinks.

Great location with easy access to Tongariro alpine crossing and other areas of Tongariro Park. Friendly owner who provided helpful advice and organized transport. Free use of washing machines and spa pool. Comfortable bed and well-equipped amenities. Excellent lighting and secure windows. Beautiful views of the mountains.

We had a lovely weekend away, enjoying the stunning natural surroundings and a comfortable stay. the beds were cozy and we were provided with plenty of towels. the location was excellent, with easy access to nearby outdoor activities and a supermarket close by for all our needs. What we appreciated most was the warm and friendly service of the staff, who went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable.

While our overall experience was positive, there were a few small drawbacks. the shower head could have been cleaner to ensure better water flow, and the bathroom was a bit dated.
