The motel is in a good location, just across from the beach and only a 10 min walk from the main shopping area. You can even see the little Blue Penguin come ashore in the evening. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room provides all necessary facilities like a fridge and a microwave, and the wifi is reliable and fast.

Stayed one night at a motel right opposite the bay after an amazing day whale watching! About 5 minute drive to town centre. The room was basic but clean and tidy. Good location for a short one night stay.

The two complementary facts offered as room amenities were great. it was a convenient location close to the beach and easily walkable to nearby shops and restaurants.

The pull-out bed that doubled as a couch was very uncomfortable to sit on. I had to check out early due to unexpected weather conditions and was not refunded.

We were able to fit 5 separate adults into a 2 bedroom unit, and the guy sorted out extra bedding for us. The place was comfortable, clean, and had a huge fridge. We appreciated the milk on arrival for our morning tea or coffee. The kitchenette with a fridge and microwave was helpful, as were the good wifi and friendly hostess. The location was excellent, with easy access to the beach and town. the unit had everything we needed, including a separate shower and bathroom.

I recently stayed at a motel in Kaikoura and had a great experience. The location was quiet and close to the beach, allowing for beautiful seafront views right across the road. The beds were comfortable and the large 2 bedroom apartment provided ample space for our family. The highlight was definitely the amazing shower, which was such a refreshing and enjoyable experience. Despite not being fancy, the motel was clean and functional, providing everything we needed for our stay. I would definitely recommend this motel as an excellent value for the money.

The staff were incredibly accommodating, helping me find a room for an extra night. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach and town center. The kitchenette had everything I needed, and the on-site laundry was a bonus. a fantastic stay that exceeded my expectations!
