We had a fantastic stay at the luxurious Sofitel. The room was beautiful with a super comfy king size bed and an amazing view. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the location was perfect with just a 5-minute walk to the viaduct restaurants. In room dining was surprisingly good, perfect for a quick late night feed. we had a great experience and would definitely come back again!

Key manager made the switch. Staff exceeded our expectations. Chaz checked us in early, gave us a voucher and upgrade. Staff were accommodating and helpful. Facilities were lush and inviting. Bed was super comfortable. Staff were friendly and greeted us. Bags delivered to room. Room was cleaned daily. Room was air conditioned and quiet.

Celebrated our wedding anniversary at Sofitel. Staff went above and beyond to make it special. Exceptional dinner at Lava Restaurant. Great location for walking to downtown restaurants. Loved the spacious, clean room. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The spa experience was fantastic. Will definitely return.

Friendly and helpful staff who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They assisted us in making dinner reservations and arranging excursions. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a convenient USB charging station. The location was perfect, within walking distance of great restaurants and attractions. I would highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay in Auckland!

We had an incredible stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable, with the rooms and facilities all well-maintained and modern. We particularly loved the hotel facilities, especially the swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sauna. They were perfect for leisure time and provided a great way to relax and unwind. Additionally, the hotel's location was ideal, as it was conveniently situated close to the harbor and the viaduct basin restaurants. We enjoyed easy access to Lava for dinner and loved exploring the surrounding area and its dining options. Lastly, the staff at the hotel were exceptional. From the check-in desk to the concierge, they were all friendly, helpful, and provided excellent service throughout our stay.

Everything is what we need and want.

During my Christmas stay, I really liked the stylish and modern rooms at this hotel. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, which made for a great night's sleep after a long day of festivities. Additionally, the atmosphere in the hotel was lovely and relaxing, especially with the soft glow of candles lighting the walkways at night.

the noise from the nearby main road was quite bothersome, especially since the room had single glazing. It made it difficult to relax and enjoy the serene holiday atmosphere.

The hotel's location opposite the harbor along Halsey Street was perfect. Being close to the harbor and next to the vibrant viaduct harbor area allowed me to easily explore and enjoy the city's waterfront. The views from the hotel were stunning, providing a beautiful backdrop during my stay. The cleanliness and facilities of the hotel were outstanding, making my experience even more comfortable and enjoyable. The staff, especially the helpful and friendly concierge and reception staff, went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed and provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and activities.

The highlight of our stay was the massive soaking tub in the room, perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day exploring the city. Additionally, the hotel bar served great drinks and desserts, making our evenings enjoyable.

While the property and amenities were impressive, the service fell short of expectations. Upon check-in, there were issues with our reservation and no effort was made to upgrade our room despite promises.

I arrived after a long journey and was greeted by the manager who even helped me with my luggage. The room I stayed in was a beautiful junior suite with a lovely bathroom and amazing amenities. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and I had a fantastic night's sleep. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a lovely pool and a spa where I had a fantastic massage. The breakfast in the morning was absolutely fabulous and worth staying at the hotel just for that. The location of the hotel was also perfect, with casual dining options nearby and close proximity to downtown and various attractions.

Though there were a few minor issues with the room such as the heating/air conditioning not regulating properly and a phone not working, they did not majorly impact my stay. Additionally, I booked my stay through a third-party website and was not happy to find out that the room rate had been reduced after I had already booked it.
