I had a delightful stay at Southpacific Motel in Whangamata with my 8, month, old baby. the room was spacious and peaceful with excellent amenities like plush towels and a variety of toiletries. the on, site facilities, including a BBQ area and spa, were perfect for relaxation. Being walking distance from the beach and town center enhanced our experience, fostering family bonding amidst nature and local landmarks. the accommodating hosts, Carly and KB, made our stay truly special with their genuine care and personal touches. I highly recommend this oasis for a memorable getaway.

I had a fantastic time at Southpacific Motel! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, providing valuable advice throughout my stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. I particularly enjoyed the spa, although I didn't get a chance to use it. The location was perfect, close to both the beach and the main stretch of town. Despite a small inconvenience with noise from other guests, I left feeling refreshed and relaxed. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

We loved the warm welcome and free upgrade at this hidden gem. The room had a well-equipped kitchen and a stove top, perfect for saving some money. The courtyard garden with a private hot tub was a fantastic addition. The motel was conveniently located, within walking distance to the Main Street, cafes, and a minimarket. The owners were amazing, making us feel right at home with their exceptional hospitality and a great sense of humor. We can't wait to come back with our kids!

Felt like being in a relaxing home with nothing too much trouble.

I had a fantastic experience during my Christmas stay at this motel. the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. the room was clean and comfortable, with a spacious and cozy bed. I also loved the fact that the motel had a new kitchenette, which was perfect for my cooking needs. the location was ideal, being close to shops, cafes, and within walking distance to the beach. I couldn't have asked for a better stay.

While my stay was wonderful overall, there were a couple of minor downsides. the bathroom door was a slider, and it made quite a bit of noise when opening and closing, which was a bit inconvenient, especially during the night.

Just had an amazing stay at a motel close to the beach. LOVED the comfy bed and the jacuzzi! Definitely coming back. Even better in person! 🌴

This motel is in a great location, just down the road from the main township and close to the shops for a leisurely walk. It is situated in a very quiet area with good parking facilities. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with lovely sheets and towels. The staff are excellent and provide friendly service, even going the extra mile to retrieve a lost item. it's a convenient and cozy place to stay.

The motel charges for WiFi, which is not ideal in this day and age.

Absolutely perfect experience. Lovely owners, amazing cooked breakfast, great location with easy walk to town. Pool table and spa available. Tidy room with all amenities, plenty of parking. Quiet location, no traffic noise. Highly recommended, we'll be back.
