The Nunnery offered clean rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a friendly host. The single room was upgraded to a double, and the atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed. Free Easter chocolates and feijoas were a nice touch. Denise made delicious coffee in the morning. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

The location was ideal, just a short distance from the heart of town. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated and incredibly comfortable. We were also impressed with the bathroom, which had a great shower. Additionally, the guest lounge and deck area were perfect for enjoying drinks with friends in the evening. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the lack of washing up facilities and breakfast options, overall, our experience was highly enjoyable. We didn't receive information about the wifi code and the deck furniture was a bit old, but these were small inconveniences in an otherwise pleasant stay. We would definitely recommend The Nunnery to others.

I stayed at The Nunnery in Te Aroha for one night for a funeral. The room was perfect, with a comfy bed and it was impeccably clean. The owner was very understanding when I arrived without NZ dollars and accepted my Australian dollars without complaint. The owner also provided helpful recommendations for things to do in the area before my arrival. The communal lounge/kitchen area was well-stocked and there was a lovely raised deck with seating. Great value for money!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Te Aroha. Good location, very quiet area. Comfortable bed and very good bathroom. The studio had everything to cater to my needs, including easy access to Wi-Fi. Loved the added extras like dressing gowns and cappuccino coffee. Enjoyed the privacy and tranquility of the place.

The washing up arrangements were complicated and would have preferred to wash my own dishes. A stove top or microwave would have been a nice addition.

the Nunnery in Te Aroha exceeded my expectations in every way. the king bed room with its own en-suite was spacious, clean, and quiet. I appreciated the added comforts such as the heat pump and a nice selection of tea and coffee. I was thoroughly impressed and will definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

The pillows provided were too big and firm, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
