Stayed at The Retreat for a week-long getaway. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The rooms were spotless and well-equipped with a stove, fridge, and hot water. The balcony offered breathtaking ocean views. Fantastic value for money and in a prime location near popular attractions like the Treaty Grounds. Highly recommended!

Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

I recently had a fantastic business trip to a hotel with a beautiful view over the bay of islands. The location was perfect, high above the bay on both islands. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. The room was clean and tidy, and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel also provided all the necessary facilities and amenities one could need. It truly was a wonderful experience.

There was one small downside - the bathroom could use an upgrade.

We stayed at Retreat Aparthotel and were amazed by the beautiful property and breathtaking views from every place. the owners, a super friendly couple, went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. the bed was really comfortable and we could even enjoy the view from it. the location was quiet and peaceful, perfect for a restful stay. We also appreciated the spacious apartment and the personal hospitality of the owners, who even offered to drive us to the town center.

Nothing to complain about, it was perfect! 😊

We had an incredible stay at the Retreat Aparthotel in Paihia. the house was spacious and well-equipped, with stunning views from the deck. the beds were extremely comfortable and the layout was perfect for our group of four adults. Our host, Sasha, exceeded our expectations by forwarding an iPad that was left behind to our next destination. Highly recommend this place for a memorable stay in Paihia.

The view was stunning and the room was spacious. We enjoyed having our car right beside us and appreciated the friendly staff who were always ready to help. the equipped kitchen and bathroom were extremely useful, and the internet connection was great.

It was a little bit difficult to find the turnoff and the culvert drain was hard to spot at night. we could hear some noise from the next room at bedtime which was a bit concerning, but it quieted down soon after.
