I couldn't believe my luck when I arrived at this hidden gem. From the moment I walked through the door, I felt at home. The staff made sure my every need was taken care of, and the rooms were absolutely perfect. The location, away from the city hustle, provided a serene and majestic view of Lake Hayes. I can't recommend this place enough!

Lovely and spacious rooms, with generous hosts. Great location across from Lake Hayes walk. Only 5-minute drive to Arrowtown for delicious food and a fantastic cinema experience.

The Shan is beautifully located opposite stunning Lake Hayes, offering breathtaking views. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The hosts go above and beyond to make your stay feel like home, including thoughtful touches and amenities like a kitchenette and washing machine. The breakfasts are delicious and generous, with plenty of options to choose from. The hosts are friendly, enthusiastic, and full of local knowledge, making them great for travel tips. a top-notch B&B experience that sets the standard for accommodations in the area.

The location of the lodge was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains. It was a perfect spot for a morning run with an accessible 8km track just across the road. The lodge itself was situated right opposite the lake, offering a lovely walking track that guests could enjoy. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hosts provided excellent service and the breakfast was delicious.

The kitchen and living room were not available for guests to use at night, which limited the opportunity to socialize with others and share travel stories.

The view from the lodge was incredible, with mountains and a lake in sight. The room offered two great facilities, a washing machine, and a cooktop. The atmosphere was homely and the breakfast was definitely the best part of our stay.

The room was not as expected, the bed sheets were stained and the overall cleanliness was poor. The distance from the city was too far away and the bus service was not reliable.
