This unique accommodation was perfect for our city break. The semi-rural location allowed for a relaxing stay while still being close to town. The well-appointed facilities included everything we needed, and the added touch of biscuits and coffee made us feel welcome. We appreciated the lack of a TV, which allowed us to truly unwind. The beautiful scenery and peaceful river were the best aspects, adding to the overall relaxing experience.

The distance from town. While it was not an issue for us as we had a car, we can see how it might be inconvenient for those who plan to eat out or explore the city.

We had a wonderful stay at a stunning retreat by the river. The decor was tasteful and the entire place was spotless. The elevated height provided breathtaking views of the birds. Renee, our host, was welcoming and gave us great dinner recommendations. We fell in love with the charming character of the property and the peaceful ambiance. We loved the privacy and found the reading material provided to be a delightful touch. We have already recommended this place to others and would gladly stay again!
