Great location for hiking, with easy shuttle transfers and free breakfast. Clean and well-maintained facilities, with helpful notices in the rooms. Friendly hosts who make you feel like family. Comfortable beds and a delicious scrambled egg breakfast. a fantastic experience.

What a great find! Tony's Lodge was the perfect stopover on our way to Wellington. Tony and his lovely mum made us feel right at home. The breakfast options were excellent, with a wide variety of hot and cold foods to choose from. The showers were always clean and hot, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We loved having access to board games and Sky TV for entertainment. Tony's assistance with rearranging our plans and providing shuttle service was exceptional. We would definitely stay here again for a homey, non-hostel experience.

tony's lodge in turangi was even better than our previous stay. tony himself made us feel right at home, the breakfast was outstanding and we loved chatting with him and other guests on the deck. it was a truly relaxing holiday.

Heater didn't work.

We had the most wonderful stay at Tony's Lodge. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. Tony went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and it was evident that he paid attention to every detail. We even had the privilege of enjoying a barbecue together on our last evening. The warmth and hospitality Tony showed us truly made our stay exceptional.

We had a fantastic time at this cozy lodge. Tony, our host, was incredibly helpful and even upgraded our room for free. He went above and beyond to rearrange our schedule so we could still do the Tongariro Alpine Crossing despite bad weather. Tony acted as our shuttle and charged us the same as the shuttle service would have. the provided breakfast was great too. a homey and non-hostel experience that we would definitely recommend.

I came down for a fishing weekend and Tony's Lodge was perfect. Brilliant hosts, Tony and Tania, added thoughtful extras like lake towels and cooked up a fish dinner for all guests. Highly recommend for a relaxing holiday in fishing paradise. Friendly and lively atmosphere, comfortable beds, and excellent breakfast at a reasonable cost.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel in Turangi. The location is perfect, right by the lake, making it very convenient for swimming and enjoying the beautiful views. The hotel facilities were great, with a spacious room and comfortable bed. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel like part of the family. The breakfast provided was delicious and a great way to start the day. this hotel was clean, had convenient parking, and was located in the central north island, making it easy to explore the surrounding areas.

I booked this place for its welcoming hosts and was not disappointed. Tony and Tania were attentive without being intrusive, and great with my kids. The trampoline was a hit, and Tony even provided bug spray for the mozzies. The location was ideal, close to Lake Taupo and shops within walking distance. The accommodation was cozy and clean, with a self-serve breakfast. Highly recommended!
