We recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. The owners were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The cozy living area was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The rooms were clean, tidy, and had everything we needed. The location was ideal, not too far from town and with the option of a relaxing dip in the spa. We also loved the fact that the hotel offered packages for the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, making it convenient for us to explore the breathtaking trail. The breakfast and dinner provided by the hosts were outstanding, with a variety of delicious dishes to choose from. Despite a couple of minor issues like thin walls and separate charges for coffee and tea at breakfast, we would still highly recommend this hotel for its warm hospitality, cozy atmosphere, and great location. we had a wonderful stay and would definitely return in the future.

We had a fantastic stay at a lovely cottage with a great layout. the rooms were warm and cozy, and we especially loved the little library room where our daughter slept. the owners were very friendly and provided excellent advice on local attractions. We also enjoyed the petanque court for some family fun. the proximity to shops and the town center was a plus. Tussock Grove provided a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
