vr rotorua lake resort exceeded my expectations with their exceptional staff, comfortable beds, and complimentary wine. the lake view was breathtaking and the breakfast was delicious. highly recommend!

Odd smell in the room.

The bed was comfortable and the lake view from the room was stunning. The restaurant served world-class cuisine with a comforting open fire. The staff, from housekeeping to the restaurant, were friendly and helpful. The hotel provided important information on their Māori history through storyboards in the hallways. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay.

The location of this resort is perfect for a relaxing getaway. You can immerse yourself in the beauty of nature, with stunning lake views and safe surroundings for children to explore. The rooms are clean and spacious, with a large bathroom that includes a luxurious spa bath. The staff are friendly and attentive, always eager to assist you. The breakfast offers plenty of delicious options to start your day off right. this resort provides a homey atmosphere and allows you to enjoy the tranquility of being by the lake.

There is a limited menu at the hotel's restaurant, and there are no decent restaurants nearby.

I really enjoyed my stay at this place. It was in a quiet area with amazing natural scenic beauty on the lake front, which made it a perfect spot for relaxing. The staff offered great service from room service, laundry, and tour assistance to happy hour, and had amazing customer service. The room was very comfortable with amenities like heating, air conditioning, and tea and coffee facilities. The outdoor swimming pool and leisure spa & wellness centre were very relaxing where I spent my leisure time. The staff at the dining restaurant provided me with delicious breakfast with plenty of options.

Recommended for families, this venue had a children's play area and children's menu that could be ideal for family vacations.

I loved the beautiful lake view from my room at this resort, it was so refreshing to wake up to every morning! The food was also amazing, I especially loved the steak in the restaurant. Despite some minor issues in the room, overall I'll recommend this hotel.

The room had a beautiful view of the lake, perfect for a romantic escape. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall positive experience. the cleanliness of the room was satisfactory.

The room felt outdated and in need of modernization. The lack of power points was a major inconvenience, as we had to crawl under the table to plug in the kettle.

The two complementary features offered were a spa facility and access to a well-equipped gym. the location of the hotel was excellent and provided easy access to all the nearby tourist attractions. this, I especially enjoyed the food that was served in the hotel's restaurant. the taste and presentation of the dishes were fantastic.

The room service was poor and extremely slow. the staff looked down on us and wasn't friendly during our entire stay.

Everything is what i need and want.

The resort's location was great, with easy access to Rotorua and Okere Falls. The parking area was very handy, making it convenient for us to come and go. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. We also enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the view from our room was breathtaking. The facilities were well-maintained, especially the clean and tidy rooms and bathrooms. it was a pleasant experience for our family.

The presence of geese on the lawns was a bit of a setback as it left behind a lot of poop and made it difficult to walk down to the lake. The smell also became unpleasant at times.
