The hostess went above and beyond by delivering our forgotten cherries to the car park. Despite our delayed arrival, she patiently waited for us. The location is super convenient, with off-street parking and close proximity to the CBD, Riverside pool, and Queens gardens. The apartment is cozy and has a spacious fridge. The host was incredibly kind and upgraded us to a sunny and perfect space for my recovery. The apartment had everything we needed for cooking, a good night's sleep, and soaking up the sun. The Matai River and walking tracks are right at our doorstep, and we even enjoyed a dip in the character-filled heated swimming pool nearby. The shopping center is just a brief walk away, and there's a great little café closeby. The host is super nice and helpful, and the hotel is conveniently located near city center and scenic spots. A Fresh Choice supermarket is just a short walk away. The room is beautifully decorated and both the sitting room and bedroom are spacious. The kitchen is well-equipped and the bathroom is well-spaced with separate partitions for added convenience. The efficient heater in the sitting room kept us warm, and the value for money is great.

The rooms were basic and in need of updating, which didn't match the overall charm of the property. the uneven floors were a bit bothersome and there was a strong smell in the flat that required keeping windows and doors open for the whole afternoon.

I got great value for my money at Waimarie. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had a private balcony. The location was perfect, close to town yet felt peaceful by the riverside. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

We had a great experience at our accommodation. Ali, our host at Waimarie, was very attentive, checking in with us about our arrival and making sure we had everything we needed. the self-catered apartment had all the amenities we required, and we found it to be clean and well-maintained. the location was perfect, with a supermarket just a block away and restaurants within a few blocks. Despite being close to the main streets, it was surprisingly quiet at night, which was important for me as a light sleeper. we thought it was excellent value for money and met all our expectations.

I recently stayed at a lovely motel in a convenient location near the CBD. The room was spacious and had plenty of natural light, making it a pleasant place to relax. I also appreciated the separate spaces for the bathroom and toilet, providing extra privacy. The neighborhood was charming, with a beautiful river, a nearby rec center/pool, an art gallery, and a park. the motel exceeded my expectations and I would definitely stay there again.

Amazing terrace with a river view, perfect for trout-watching. The motel and apartment combination is ideal for an awkward family reunion or a business conference filled with small talk and awkward handshakes.

Who needs pesky doors and windows? Just keep them open and let the smoke and noise from other guests entertain you all night.

For the price we paid, we got a great value - a spacious room with a comfortable bed and a fully-equipped kitchen. The location was perfect, nestled by the river and just minutes away from the town center. The friendly staff made our stay even more enjoyable.

We recently stayed at a charming riverside motel in Nelson. the Queen room was newly renovated with a private balcony featuring two outdoor chairs, perfect for enjoying the tranquil surroundings. We loved the convenient location near a supermarket and the Suter Art gallery. It was also within walking distance of the town center and the iconic Centre of NZ, offering stunning views over Nelson and the rural hills.

The location of the hotel is ideal as it is within walking distance to the supermarket, amazing restaurants, and the "centre of NZ". The room is spacious with a separate living/kitchen area, and there is a balcony which offers privacy. The hosts are welcoming and friendly, and the facilities are well-equipped.

There was slight noise from the floor above, which could be slightly annoying.

waimarie was a great base for our adventures in nelson. the manager was helpful and gave us great local tips. the location was perfect, close to coffee shops and a short stroll to town. family room was a money-saver for us. overall, a fantastic experience!
