I had a delightful stay at Waipiata Country Hotel! the warm atmosphere and delicious food made me feel at home. Despite a minor noise disturbance, the overall experience was exceptional. the Lamb Shank Pie was a highlight - a true gem in the South Island! Can't wait to return! .

Had an amazing Christmas stay at a charming country hotel in the heart of Maniototo. Loved the accommodating and friendly staff, who went out of their way to serve us a late arrival dinner. The atmosphere was delightful, with a mix of guests and locals. The pies were seriously the best we've ever tasted, with flakey and crisp pastry and a fantastic selection of fillings. The clean and modern rooms were a pleasant surprise, and the packed lunches for our bike ride were a great convenience. Great memories made!

The morning fog, which delayed the beautiful Maniototo day by an hour. But once it lifted, the location was perfect for exploring the area.
