Comfortable room, 5-minute walk to town center. During my recent stay at a hotel in Wanaka, I was pleased to find a comfortable room that provided everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The location was also a major plus, as it was just a short 5-minute walk to the town center. The convenience of being close to shops, restaurants, and attractions made exploring the area a breeze. I had a great experience and would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Wanaka.

Nice view of the village and lake from twin room 201 on the first floor. Parking facilities available at the back of the building. Moderate quality wifi. Quiet rooms with no traffic noise.👍

During our stay, we were pleasantly surprised by the hotel's location. It was situated just next to the lakefront and close to many restaurants and bars. Our room was clean and had been recently refurbished, with a great outlook. We had no issue with road noise and were able to enjoy a peaceful night's rest.

One aspect of the hotel that needs improvement is the air conditioning. During our stay in the summer, the air conditioning did not work, making the room uncomfortably hot and leading to tiny flying bugs entering the room when the balcony door was left open.

The free coffee in the lobby was decent and the staff were friendly and helpful. the location was central, with plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. the view from the room was okay, not great, but at least there was no construction noise.

The hotel really needs updating, it felt like we were back in the 80s. Everything was a bit worn and tired, from the carpets to the decor in the room.

I got incredible value for my money by being upgraded to the royal suite without any extra charge. The room was comfortable and clean, and the location was perfect, with everything I needed nearby. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel had great amenities like free WiFi, a cafe, and a Mexican restaurant.

The breakfast selection could have been improved with the addition of some plates for easier dining.
