our room was spacious with a comfy bed, lovely old bathtub, and a view of the garden. the location was perfect, close to the lake and within walking distance to a famous tree. we loved the continental breakfast, peaceful lounge area, and sun-soaked deck. the hosts, alan and noeline, were welcoming, and the organic toiletries added a nice touch to our experience.

Just a quick walk to the epic Wanaka Tree and buzzing town center. Chillin' in the cozy lounge area was dope, and the breakfast fueled our adventures. the room had all the vibes!

More party vibes, like a game room or DJ booth, could level up the fun for us party animals! .

Loved the spacious room with a cozy bed, large bathroom, and warm atmosphere, plus the close location to town! Enjoyed relaxing on the sun-soaked deck and reading in the lounge area. the only downside was the simple breakfast of granola and toast, but it didn't bother us too much as we preferred to grab a bite in town. ✨.

Comfortable and Cozy Stay with Friendly Hosts

The room was spacious, clean, and cozy, with a super comfortable bed and a large, well-equipped bathroom. the location, although a bit of a walk from the town center, provided a quiet and relaxing atmosphere to unwind after a day of exploring Wanaka. the only improvement could be having coffee/tea making facilities in the room for added convenience.

the hosts were incredibly hospitable, and our room was spacious and incredibly cozy. the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the bathroom was equipped with everything we needed. the location was just a short drive from the city center, making it convenient for exploring. We especially loved the warm ambiance and personal touches throughout the property. Cons: Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

I always return for a relaxing time. the first stay, staff kindly arranged car service. the stay here suits me perfectly: free parking, luggage storage, and more amenities. I'll be back for Christmas!

The hosts from the cottage where they live directly next door to the B&B are adorable and so willing to please. They were in the final weeks of training for a triathlon and still managed to go above and beyond for their guests. the breakfast of eggs, pancakes, and banana bread French toast was scrumptious and the special diet menus were fabulous. the outdoor dining area, picnic area, and tables provide a cozy atmosphere to relax, unwind, and feel the comforts of home while traveling.

Beautiful house with rustic charm, lovely garden, cozy mezzanine and balcony, short walk to lake and town center. Access to cute verandah, spacious room and ensuite with bath. Homely feel, wonderful hosts, enjoyable conversations at breakfast. Surrounding trees, comfortable room, waking up to birds and butterflies. Ample space, private entrance, quiet neighborhood, good sleep, pod coffee available.

Our stay at the Stonehouse Bed & Breakfast was absolutely delightful. The house itself was beautiful, with spacious and comfortable rooms. The breakfast provided by Anna was scrumptious and the log fire in the evening created such a cozy atmosphere. We especially loved the convenient location, just a short walk along the lake to the town center. we had a fantastic time and highly recommend this hotel.
