we enjoyed our stay at Stonehouse Bed & Breakfast - a beautiful country-style home. our room was spacious with a comfy bed, lovely old bathtub, and a view of the garden. the location was perfect, close to the lake and within walking distance to a famous tree. we loved the continental breakfast, peaceful lounge area, and sun-soaked deck. the hosts, alan and noeline, were welcoming, and the organic toiletries added a nice touch to our experience.

Comfortable and Cozy Stay with Friendly Hosts

The room was spacious, clean, and cozy, with a super comfortable bed and a large, well-equipped bathroom. the location, although a bit of a walk from the town center, provided a quiet and relaxing atmosphere to unwind after a day of exploring Wanaka. the only improvement could be having coffee/tea making facilities in the room for added convenience.

Beautiful house with rustic charm, lovely garden, cozy mezzanine and balcony, short walk to lake and town center. Access to cute verandah, spacious room and ensuite with bath. Homely feel, wonderful hosts, enjoyable conversations at breakfast. Surrounding trees, comfortable room, waking up to birds and butterflies. Ample space, private entrance, quiet neighborhood, good sleep, pod coffee available.

Our stay at the Stonehouse Bed & Breakfast was absolutely delightful. The house itself was beautiful, with spacious and comfortable rooms. The breakfast provided by Anna was scrumptious and the log fire in the evening created such a cozy atmosphere. We especially loved the convenient location, just a short walk along the lake to the town center. we had a fantastic time and highly recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel! The location was perfect, nestled in a lovely suburban area with a park nearby where we could take a leisurely stroll to see the famous tree and town center. The room was spacious and had a private verandah that connected to a cozy lounge area upstairs, complete with a fridge and tea/coffee facilities. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed a peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom was spacious and well-equipped. Breakfast in the downstairs dining room was delightful.

The only recommendation I have is for all the bedrooms, showers, and toilets to be on the ground floor with French doors opening out onto the garden. Other than that, this place is a must-visit for everyone.
