pros rooms were extremely clean - just a skip away from even in the bistro. the staff shared some cool local history. standout service was the exceptionally accommodating restaurant team with great gluten-free options.

exploring the coast, i revisited this gem in christchurch. wigram astounded me with its impeccable interior, superb staff, and delightful dining experience. a perfect blend of historical charm and modern comfort.

room lacked breakfast amenities.

wigram reeks history as the no. one officers mess of the royal new zealand air force. while it has been renovated, it retains the decorum of an officers mess. the rooms, central dining area, and meals were excellent as was the attention of staff during our stay. the decorum will be understood by ex-services personnel but, for those unfamiliar, the service levels meet or exceed the very best of hotels.

The friendly staff promptly addressed any concerns, and the room was cozy with modern amenities. the relaxing garden area enhanced our stay, and exploring nearby landmarks like the Canterbury Museum and International Antarctic Centre created memorable family moments.
